What is The Oath of Love about?

Lin Zhixiao, an upbeat university cello student, has her world turned upside down when her father is diagnosed with cancer, and her first encounter with his surgeon, the reserved Dr. Gu Wei, is a thoroughly awkward one. Gu Wei is quietly struggling after a setback at work, and as Zhixiao spends her days at the hospital, the two slowly start to lift each other up. The drama follows them from hospital corridors into a gentle, grown-up relationship, with friends, family and career choices along the way. It is a low-angst, comfort-watch romance.

Based on the novel: 《余生，请多指教》 by Bolin Shijiang (柏林石匠).
