What is When I Fly Towards You about?

Cheerful sixteen-year-old Su Zaizai meets Zhang Lurang, the quiet star student of her year, on a rainy day and decides to win him over with open, cheerful persistence. Behind his cool front, Lurang carries insecurities rooted in his family, and Zaizai's warmth slowly draws him out. Their best friends Gu Ran and Jiang Jia bicker their way toward a romance of their own, and troubled classmate Guan Fang joins the group as the five grow from high school into early adulthood. It is a light, feel-good campus story adapted from a novel by Zhu Yi, the author of Hidden Love.

Based on the novel: 《她病得不轻》 by Zhu Yi (竹已).
